Have you ever felt like your nervous system is stuck in overdrive—constantly scanning for danger, overwhelmed by noise, sensations, or even your own thoughts? Do you swing between shutdown and overload, trying to “function” while managing trauma responses, executive dysfunction, or masking just to get through the day?
I get it. Life isn’t always gentle, especially for those carrying trauma or living in a world that wasn’t built for neurodivergent minds. You deserve a space where you don’t have to explain away your reactions, apologize for your needs, or pretend to be okay. I’m here to hold space for all of it—with gentleness, honesty, and deep respect for your lived experience.
I’m a psychotherapist with a heart for trauma recovery, neurodivergent thriving, and relational healing. My work weaves together EMDR, somatic tools, and attachment-based practices through a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed lens. Whether you’re processing complex trauma, navigating AuDHD, or seeking safer, more connected relationships—my goal is to support you in reclaiming your voice, your energy, and your sense of self.

About Janelle
My path into psychotherapy has been anything but linear—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years immersed in the research world, developing innovative programs to support neurodivergent individuals and working behind the scenes to design accessible, evidence-based interventions. But over time, I realized my heart was pulling me toward more direct, human connection. I wanted to sit with people, not just study their experiences.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, an Honours Bachelor’s in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Business Administration—and I’m currently diving deep into the fascinating world of psychedelic-assisted therapy through a Master of Science in Psychedelics. My work is informed by both science and soul, blending clinical insight with genuine curiosity and care.
Along the way, I’ve supported community organizations focused on depression, worked as a research assistant across multiple settings, and stayed curious about what truly helps people heal. Today, I bring that same curiosity, compassion, and nerdy love of the brain into every session. My goal? To make therapy feel like a co-created space where your needs, identities, and inner wisdom are always centered—and where growth feels empowering, not overwhelming.
