Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. All discussions during your sessions are kept private and confidential, with few exceptions, such as imminent risk of harm to oneself or others.

A standard individual therapy session at Collective Care Counselling typically lasts 60 minutes. However, we offer a variety of sessions ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on what is agreed upon between the individual and their therapist.

Yes, of course! If you need a little more support at the moment, your therapist can build your treatment plan to include more than one session a week to fit your needs.

The cost of therapy at Collective Care Counselling may vary depending on the type and duration of the service. The average cost of a session is $160. The average cost of a subsidized session is $75-100. Please contact our team for more detailed information about the fees and available spots in our subsidized program.

Yes! We absolutely accept insurance! We do not do direct billing, however. It is important to contact your insurance provider to determine the percentage covered, the types of sessions covered, and the credentials of different types of therapists that are covered. Please reach out to us for support.

Yes, Collective Care Counselling offers virtual therapy sessions to ensure accessibility and convenience for clients who prefer remote sessions or are located outside the local area.
